Richard Sanders has been named the fourth CEO in just over two years at Jay-Z's music streamer TIDAL. He joins as Kanye West threatens a major lawsuit, but buoyed by a $200 million investment from Sprint, which acquired a 33% stake of TIDAL in January.

Richard Sanders is the new CEO of TIDAL. Sanders exited as head of music publisher and artist services firm Kobalt in May, after five years with the company. Prior to that, he served president of global marketing at Sony Music, and did stints at RCA and Arista.Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure, who joined Tidal’s board as part of the mobile company's recent $200 million investment and longtime JayZ associate Desiree Perez, have been closely involved in the management of Tidal during the leadership transition, a source told Variety.
