Tom Connaughton Exits Vevo To Join Team Spotify

Spotify new rectangleSpotify has tapped former Vevo exec, Tom Connaughton, to serve as the head of artist and label marketing for Spotify’s UK operation.  Connaughton’s new role at Spotify was announced in an internal memo distributed to Spotify employees, according to MBW.Connaughton comes to Spotify after almost a decade at Vevo where he served most recently as Senior VP of creative and content programming. He joins Spotify as the company moves towards its April 3rd debut on the New York Stock Exchange as a publicly traded company.Connaughton, who lived in New York while with Vevo, will relocate to London for his new gig with Spotify and report to Troy Carter, global head of creative services at Spotify.– CelebrityAccess
