A Kickstarter to fund a tribute album to Blind Wille Johnson launched yesterday. Tom Waits, Sinead O’Connor, Lucinda Williams, Luther Dickinson, Cowboy Junkies, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi, Blind Boys of Alabama and Rickie Lee Jones have agreed to record songs for the project, which as of Wednesday morning had pledghes total $16,000 of a $125,000 goal.
