After what was reportedly an intense 30 hour auction, venerable music retailer Tower Records will be liquidated. Liquidators Great American beat music retailer Trans World by $500,000 paying $134.4 million for the rights to sell off the inventory. Trans World had hoped to keep at least some of Tower’s stores open.
Make room on your shelves…the inventory sell-off will begin almost immediately and last about six weeks.
