“We talk to our customers every day so we can learn exactly what they want and need to be successful as independent artists,” says Scott Ackerman, CEO of TuneCore. “We know that social media is integral in helping our artists reach a wider audience, so acquiring JustGo was a natural fit."
Details of the deal were not disclosed. But JustGo, founded in London in 2013, had received $1.7 million in venture funding. Founder and CEO, Justin Golshir will join TuneCore to lead the integration and help expand TuneCore’s artist services product offering. TuneCore was acquired by Believe Digital last year.“With JustGo our mission has always been to help emerging musicians grow their fan base and get their music heard around the world,” says Justin Golshir. “TuneCore strives to do exactly that through its vast portfolio of artist services and together we can achieve that shared mission on a much larger scale now with TuneCore Social.”Related articles
