From CES comes news that Twitter has invested in high end connected headphone startup Muzik. The company's wireless headphones offer control of what the user is listening to and share it on social networks (like Twitter…) via controls on its outside. This is Twitter's first investment in a hardware company.
A $299 version will start shipping in May, according to re/code, followed by a $199 in-ear version in late summer along with other products using the same tech.
Inevitably, the many music lovers on Twitter's platform will star seeing ads for Muzik in the stream later this Spring.
