Phish fans can communally celebrate the July 10th release of "Live In Brooklyn" as separate 2 DVD and 3 CD sets by heading to one of 99 one time only movie theater screenings of the release put together by Big Screen Concerts. Tix are $12.50.
Former Philly alternative rocker Y100 has been surviving on the net since being yanked off the airwaves. But now in an innovative partnership with AAA non-comm powerhouse WXPN the net broadcast will take over WXPN three nights a week and be streamed via XPN’s popular web site. Its a win-win as Y100 gets broader exposure and XPN gets to broaden its demo. Expect to see more of these partnerships as new and old media learn to work together.
