CurEven as music streamers from Pandora to Spotify struggle to find profits and  Rdio files for bankruptcy, others are still hoping to get into the game. U.S. based CUR Media is one, and they just added $1.75 million to make it happen.

Unlaunched music streaming service CÜR Media today announced the completion of a $1.75 million financing round led by members of the company's management and board of directors Investors include Tom Brophy, Founder & CEO and recently appointed director Sanjan ("Sunny") Dhody. Music industry professionals participating in the round were Hector "Tico" Torres, drummer for the rock band Bon Jovi, and Robert Fernandez, President of Mr. 305, Inc., the independent record label founded by Pitbull.

Little is known about how CUR will differentiate itself from Spotify, Apple Music and other entrenched competitiors. But here are a few hints from the startup:
