YouTube-icon-full_colorVevo is reportedly close to a deal with Warner Music Group to add content to the video platform.  Founded as a joint venture between Universal Music and Sony, that lack WMG content has always made the service seem incomplete.“[Bagging Warner] creates a destination for all the videos from all the majors that doesn’t really exist [outside of YouTube],” a source close to the talks told the New York Post. “In terms of trying it and seeing if it helps, it’s going to be a really interesting experiment.”Once this deal is done, expect Vevo to launch a subscription service within a few months.
