Music video platform Vevo has reached a milestone of more than 10 billion monthly global views for the first time. In January, that meant 10,335,997,898 video views. That's an 86% increase over January 2014’s 5.4 billion views.
January 2015 was also the first month when Vevo had more than 2 billion views in the U.S., up from 1.2 billion in January 2014.
Vevo attributes its growth both mobile and connected TV views, which now account for nearly half of Vevo’s views (49.5%). 23 videos were named Vevo CERTIFIED, each surpassing 100 million views.
Mexico, Vevo’s second largest market after the US, is currently delivering over 1 billion monthly views since its launch in early 2014.
