image from celebrityaccess.comThe Mission Impossible franchise proved that it still has lots of life left as “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” debuted with $153.5M in worldwide box office revenue, according to estimates compiled by comScore. The cast was lead by Tom Cruise, who reprised his role from previous entries in the Franchise, as did Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin.This installment, the sixth in the increasingly hoary series of spy dramas, was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. McQuarrie is a frequent collaborator with Cruise and directed him in other films including “Jack Reacher” and the previous M.I. installment, “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation”.
