Weird Al Yankovic has used his personalized Spotify Wrapped 2023 video to fans to take a swipe at the size of the checks he receives from Spotify.
After thanking his fans for their support, Yankovic quips, “It’s my understanding that I had over 80 million streams on Spotify this year. So, if I’m doing the math right, that means I earned $12.”
That’s “enough to get myself a nice sandwich in a restaurant,” he continued. “So thanks for your support…. and the sandwich.”
