Andy
Chen has joined music streaming service WiMP as the new Chief Executive
Officer. Chen was most recently CEO at Preview Networks in Copenhagen and also
holds a number of board positions for companies within the technology and media
sector. He previously held senior management positions at MTV and Viacom.
Chen will replace
Espen Lauritzen who been Interim CEO since May 2012.
"There are a lot of
momentum and disruptions in the streaming music space and I look forward to
leverage WiMP's strong team and unique position to compete against some of the
biggest players in this sector," commented Chen.
