Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio Unveils Expanded Celebrity DJ Lineup

Apple Music's live global net radio station Beats 1 will launch at 8AM PT on Tuesday June 30th, according to a tweet by Apple Music Senior Director and former Beats Music CEO Ian Rogers. A clearer picture of who will be manning the mic has also emerged.

Apple's Beats 1 Radio will launch on Tuesday June 30th with programs by artists including Dr. Dre's "The Pharmacy" and Elton John's "Elton John's Rocket Hour" according to the New York Times.

Other artists who will have one or two hour shows on the new streaming service include Pharrell Williams, Drake, St. Vincent, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, Disclosure and Jaden Smith.

The service will also feature some former terrestrial radio DJS, including BBC DJ Zane Lowe, New York's Hot 97's Ebro Darden and and London-based Julie Adenuga.
