Loton Corp. has named music industry veteran Phil Quartararo as Vice Chairman of its LiveXLive subsidiary. LiveXLive delivers HD streams from festivals and clubs.Quartararo, who was previously on the company’s advisory board, is known for helping launch Virgin Records America and the careers of such artists as Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, and Janet Jackson. He also was President at both Warner Bros. Records and EMI.LiveXLive has exclusive deals with major festivals including Rock in Rio, and venues including the Saban Theater in L.A. and Marquee in Las Vegas.  Since launching in May 2016, LiveXLive has streamed performances by Katy Perry, Rihanna, Rod Stewart, Metallica, Sam Smith, Elton John, John Legend and others.
