  1. Unless its a .com, nobody really cares. .music just screams “We got here late!” Have you noticed that the adult video business never adopted .xxx either?

  2. They’re trying to monitor it so that these domains don’t get into the hands of the wrong people. imo this is a great way to keep the internet clean, and hope that other regulatory bodies find a way to regulate their respective industries in the digital space.

  3. It’s nice to have .music domains. However, people are used to type .com in the address bar instead of .net, .org, etc. I don’t know if they have the money to massively market the .music domain on a global scale and make it familiar to the wider public.
