Both Live Nation and AEG are planning tribute concerts to honor the fallen rock star Prince.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Live Nation is planning a concert in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis and are trying to convince Prince's whole family to participate, according to people familiar with the matter. However, they have not officially announced any details regarding the event and it may be moved to a larger venue in a different city.

Live Nation's bill would likely feature several artists connected to Prince, according to the WSJ's source. Those artists could include backup band 3rd Eye Girl, Cameroonian pop-rocker Andy Allo, R&B singer Liv Warfield and funk-soul artist Judith Hill, who co-produced her 2015 album “Back in Time” with Prince.

At the same time, Live Nation's key competetitor AEG Live is producing two tribute shows in London this month. Set for June 24 and 25, the shows will feature performances by Morris Day and the Time and the show will serve as a benefit for Autism Rocks, a charity that Prince performed for several times in recent years.

According to the WSJ, AEG is producing the shows for a flat fee on behalf of Dubai promoter 117 Live, a division of Al Ahli Holding Group, which helped to organize the previous autism benefits.
