International Songwriting Competition Announces 2016 Judges

As per usual, the panel includes a mix of artists and industry execs from labels such as Atlantic, Warner, RCA, Glassnote, Interscrope and others.

As well, the tournament announced that songwriter submissions are now open, both via the mail and ISC’s online platform. The competition is open to both professional and amateur songwriters and offers 23 categories, including the newly-added category of unpublished.

A total of 71 winners will share in more than $150,000 in cash and prizes including an overall Grand Prize consisting of $25,000 (US) cash and more in merchandise and services, ISC said.

  1. No one finds it interesting that last year’s winner was already signed to Atlantic Records, and one of the judges was the Chairman/CEO of Atlantic Records?
