Casino Entertainment Awards Names 2017 Winners

Singer/songwriter and Emmy Award-winning television talk show host Clint Holmes was named as the Entertainer of the Year at the fifth annual Casino Entertainment Awards. Axis at Planet Hollywood took top honors for Casino Arena/Amphitheater of the Year, while the Event Center at Seneca Niagara Resort Casino was named Casino Showroom/Theater.Other winners on the night included Dan Pferschy, Entertainment Director at Agua Caliente Casino, who was named Casino Entertainment Executive of the Year; C3 Presents Andrew Blank, who won Independent Talent Buyer of the Year; and United Talent's Seth Shomes, who took home the trophy for Casino Booking Agent of the Year.Veteran comedian Rita Rudner and Mark Prows, Senior Vice President of Entertainment Operations, MGM Resorts International were both recognized with Lifetime Career Achievement awards.The awards, held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as a part of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) featured Comedian and tv/film star Paul Rodriguez as the master of ceremonies, performances by Batare, Brandon Bennett and Decades Rewind.
