Beatport, DjCity Launch Beatsource To Serve Open-Format DJs

Beatsource, a joint venture between Beatport and DJcity, has launched in public beta to serve as a digital music platform for open-format multi-genre DJs, including a curated download store.

"We are processing music libraries that contain thousands upon thousands of tracks every day from your favorite labels, both the majors and the coolest indies," says Beatsource. "If you do not see something that you are looking for, we can assure you that it will be there in the coming days or weeks as we continue to publish new content hourly."Some of Beatsource's label partners:
Up NextBeatsource also has plans to launch “LINK” – service that will allow subscribers to access the Beatsource store from DJ software and hardware platforms – and Beatsource PROMO, an exclusive subscription tier that provides promotional and traditional “record pool” content.
