You Can Now Share Your Spotify Canvas To An Instagram Story

Artists in the Spotify Canvas beta can now share Canvases to their Instagram Stories. With Canvas, static Spotify track pages are replaced by dynamic eight-second visual loops.

The new Instagram integration significantly broadens the social reach and value of Canvas.

Canvas sharing is currently available only to creators in the Canvas beta who are using the Spotify for Artists app on iOS. Full functionality is available only to iOS users with Spotify for Artist account with Android being added soon.

“Adding a high-quality Canvas has increased track shares by up to 200 percent, in addition to lifts in streams, saves, and artist profile visits,” says Spotify, “bringing them to Instagram is another way for artists to connect their platforms and extend their reach even further. “

Fans seeing the Canvas on Instagram will not be counted in Canvas metrics unless they click through to Spotify.
