Feed Media, Songtrust deal gives startups easy access to 3M tracks

Music licensing subscription servces Feed Media Group has signed a deal with indie music publisher Songtrust to share songs with Adatpr, Feed’s platform that makes it easy for startups to use music.

The complexities and cost of music licensing have often discouraged promising startups from entering the music space. This deal adds access to Songtrust’s catalog of more than 3 million songs to Feed’s already extensive offering.

“Songtrust works with thousands of independent songwriters whose music will be a perfect fit for the kind of technology companies we work with at Adatpr,” said Bryn Boughton, VP of Music for Feed Media Group. “This deal represents a giant step forward in building a library of music that early stage startups can have easy access to.”

“We are always looking for ways to empower songwriters by forging new avenues for them to gain exposure and make money, and this deal with Adaptr is a perfect example of that,” said Molly Neumann, President of Songtrust.
