Amazon Music to launch ‘Maestro’ AI playlist generator

Amazon Music is testing Maestro – an AI playlist generator now available in beta to select U.S. customers across its Free, Prime, and Unlimited tiers on iOS and Android.

The streamer says it will make Maestro available to more users in the coming weeks.

Like a similar offering being tested by Spotify in the UK and Australia, Amazon’s Maestro allows users to create a shareable playlist using simple prompts, including emojis, emotions, activities, sounds, or a suggested prompt.

Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can listen to and save their playlists instantly, while Prime members and ad-supported customers can listen to 30-second previews of their playlists before saving them.
