Amazon Music is turning a fan’s listener history into something they can brag about, and that’s good news for artists. By making them easy to share, Amazon Music Insights can turn fans into marketers.

New Amazon Music Insights can turn Fans into Marketers
Rolling out globally across all tiers of Amazon Music, Insights debuts with Monthly Recaps, a personalized highlight reel that includes:
- Top Artists, Songs & Podcasts
- Listening Stats – music and podcast minutes, total number of songs, artists, and episodes streamed.
- Top 5 Breakdowns – the most-loved artists, tracks, and shows.
- Top Listener Badge – earn recognition if they are among the most devoted fans of a particular artist, song, or podcast.
Turn Fans Into Marketers
All of the Amazon Music Insights are easily shareable, turning fans into marketers.
For now at least, Artists can’t see the personalized Insights of fans – unless the fan shares them. But artists can can see real-time data and analytics around their fan engagement in Amazon Music for Artists, including:
- Number of listeners overall, and at the song and album level
- Number of listeners overall, broken down by country
- Number of fans and superfans
The free Artists app also includes features to engage and monetize fans.

Amazon Music says later this year it will also empower fans with some intriguing additions:
- celebrate more listening milestones with their favorite artists
- discover deeper patterns in their music habits
- enjoy new ways to connect with the songs and creators they love
To find Insights on the Amazon Music app
- Download the latest version of the Amazon Music app on iOS and Android
- Tap “LIBRARY” at the bottom of the screen; customers who have Insights will see the Insights icon on the top right corner and can tap it
- Scroll to explore all your listening Insights available today, and share them with friends
