STUBSCAM launches, Eventim supports NIVF, Greenwich Village gets a new music club, ROSTR grows, Live Nation's Skift Live Tourism Summit and more.

STUBSCAM Launches

Music manager and fair ticketing advocate Randy Nichols has launched STUBSCAM. The site chronicles the ticket resale giant's exploits including complaints from ticket buyers and a new CBC investigation that found the self proclaimed "marketplace for fans is run by a mass scalper."

"StubHub spent over $1,000,000 lobbying in California to fool fans and legislators," writes Nichols. "This site cost $13.19 to tell the truth."

Eventim USA + National Independent Venue Foundation

The Eventim USA is supporting the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF) with a dedicated click-through donation feature for every digital ticket receipt processed through its U.S. ticketing platform.

The new feature empowers live music and comedy fans to make seamless, tax-deductible micro-donations directly to NIVF at the point of purchase, providing critical, ongoing support for grassroots stages, workforce development, and emergency relief programs nationwide.
