Live Nation has filed to two motions in New York Federal Court to set a new trial or overturn the recent monopoly verdict against it.
“In the end, the jury verdict is legally indefensible.” said Live Nation in the filing.
“The jury’s verdict is not the last word on this matter. Pending motions will determine whether the liability and damages rulings stand,” the company said in a statement. "We remain confident that the ultimate outcome of the States’ case will not be materially different than what is envisioned by the DOJ settlement."

UK 'Climate Of Fear'
In the UK, Live Nation and Ticketmaster have come under fire from the Parliament.
Following a months-long inquiry into the UK live market, the Commons Business and Trade Committee called for a "full market investigation" of the "climate of fear" across the industry allegedly caused by Live Nation's dominance and business practices.
The inquiry found that Live Nation directly controlled 58% of the 23.1 million tickets sold in the UK in 2025, rising to 66% when affiliated companies are included.
"The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) should launch a full market investigation into the live music industry before the end of 2026," said the report.
