Independent live music trade and technology company The ROSTR Group has launched ROSTR Venues, a sweeping new live music directory.
Covering over 33,000 venues across North America (13,000+), Europe (10,000+), and Latin America (9,000+), this interactive map and database aims to make booking a gig as intuitive as booking an Airbnb. It's all optimized for the mobile web and an iOS app is coming soon. New markets will be added as well.
Best of all? Basic access is free.

What is ROSTR Venues?
ROSTR Venues is a searchable, map-based live music directory built directly into the ROSTR ecosystem. You can find, compare, and connect with venues based on location, capacity bands, and venue type.
How Does the Venue Search Work?
Users can zoom in on an interactive map, drop a pin on a city, set a radius, and filter the results. Every venue has a dedicated profile that displays:
- Key Details: Capacity, venue type, and booking status.
- Upcoming Shows: Powered by a direct integration with Bandsintown.
- Artist Connections: You can click from a venue's upcoming shows straight to that artist's agent or manager on ROSTR.
For ROSTR Pro users, the platform unlocks Key Contacts, including names, roles, emails, and phone numbers of associated talent buyers and promoters. ROSTR PRO accounts start at $50 per month with discounts for a yearly subscription.
Launch Partners
While there's clearly a heavy dose of AI helping to power the new database, ROSTR didn't build this it a vacuum.
In addition to upcoming show listing from Bandsintown, the company partnered with the National Independent Venue Association to improve the data along with a "Live Independent" filter that surfaces NIVA members.
Live venue management systems provider Opendate and venue management and entertainment experiences company Legends Global also verified their clients' data prior to launch.
