Shazam To Add Concert Dates From Songkick

Fresh off their expanded roll delivering concert dates within the new and improved Pandora app, Songkick scores another victory with a Shazam partnership to deliver show information to the popular music ID app.

Shazam has announced that it will add tour date information thanks to a new partnership with Songkick.Scheduled to be rolled out in 2017, Songkick’s concert information will be integrated directly into the Shazam app, making hundreds of thousands of artists' tour dates available at the point of discovery. In tandem, Songkick will also have dorect access to Shazam’s expanding global community more than a billion music fans.“We’re constantly looking for ways to branch out in new ways to serve our users, focusing on what is important to music fans,” said Fabio Santini, Chief Product Officer, Shazam. “In partnering with Songkick to create this new offering, we are able to further connect the dots from discovery to fandom that make up a strong artist-to-fan relationship.
