Oasis 2027 Tour: Inside An Unusual Ticketing Process
Following a massive reunion tour rollout that left many fans battling dynamic pricing and endless queues, Oasis is back with their Oasis Live '27 tour. But they've completely overhauled how fans buy tickets.
If fans want to see the Gallagher brothers hit the stage in the US, UK, Europe, or Ireland in 2027, they will need to jump through some very specific hoops.
Here is what makes the Oasis Live '27 ticketing process so unusual, and what fans need to do to secure a spot.
Ticketmaster is the ticketing partner for the tour and OpenStage is handling fan-registration process as it did after the band's last tour onsale turned into a nightmare.
How the Oasis Live '27 Registration Works
The most significant change for this tour is that there will be absolutely no general onsale. The only way to purchase tickets is to get randomly selected through a mandatory pre-registration system.
To have a chance at getting tickets, fans must follow these exact steps:
- Register Before the Deadline: Fans must register via the official website (Oasisinet.com) by 4 PM BST / 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
- Match Email Addresses Perfectly: The email used for the Oasis registration must match the email address associated with the buyer's Ticketmaster account. If they don't match, the entry is void.
- Answer the Fan Quiz: To deter bots and casual scalpers, registrants must correctly answer a trivia question during the sign-up process.
- Select City Preferences: Fans can choose up to three cities, in order of preference, for the chance to receive a code.
- Wait for the Random Draw: Registering does not guarantee a ticket. Successful fans will be randomly selected to receive a unique, non-transferable code between September 24 and 27. This code grants access to a specific onsale window.
- Dynamic pricing is out. Standard ticket prices are fixed, ranging from £71.50 to £266.60 in the UK. All price tiers will be shared publicly before the sale begins.
Why Did Oasis Change Their Ticketing Strategy?
The band’s previous ticketing rollout became a PR nightmare with untenable queues and exorbitant dynamic pricing.
Ticketmaster was also forced to overhaul certain labeling and pricing practices in the the U.K. after pressure from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
To rebuild trust and combat ticket touts (scalpers), Oasis pivoted to this hyper-controlled model.
Hypebot’s Bottom Line
Oasis’s shift to a registration-only, fixed-price ticketing model is a direct response to industry-wide backlash against dynamic pricing and predatory scalping. By forcing fans to answer trivia questions, match their Ticketmaster emails, and enter a random lottery, the band is prioritizing die-hard fans over bots.
While the lack of a general onsale may frustrate more casual fans, it represents a potentially industry-shifting experiment in live music ticketing fairness. If this process successfully keeps scalpers at bay and fan sentiment positive, expect other stadium-level acts to adopt the "Oasis Model" in 2027 and beyond.
