Women That Rock Is Bringing Their Online Energy to Live Rooms

Women That Rock is taking its femme-forward live music mission on the road with a five-city summer tour featuring indie singer-songwriters Abby Holliday and Charli Adams.

The Women That Rock Summer 2026 Tour will visit Washington, D.C., New York City, Boston, Chicago, and Nashville in August. Organizers expect the run to reach approximately 2,000 attendees while introducing both artists to new audiences.

The tour marks an expansion for Women That Rock, a music discovery and live events company dedicated to supporting women and nonbinary artists. After building an online community of more than 70,000 followers and producing curated live events, the organization is now moving into multi-market touring.

“Women That Rock was founded on a simple belief: talented femme artists deserve the same opportunities, visibility, and support systems as everyone else,” said founder Andie Aronow:

"This multi-market tour represents the next chapter in our efforts to highlight incredible femme artists on stage, to support infrastructure and visibility for women in music, and to encourage brands to invest in emerging femme artists."

The initiative arrives as women remain underrepresented across numerous areas of the music business, including festival lineups, radio programming, production and executive leadership. Women That Rock says its tour is intended to provide more than individual performances, creating opportunities for audience development, media exposure and longer-term career growth.

Abby Holliday has developed a growing following through emotionally direct songwriting and an increasingly visible live presence. She has previously toured with Men I Trust, The Japanese House and James Bay.

Charli Adams is a New York-based independent artist and songwriter whose work has received coverage from NPR, Billboard, and The Fader. In addition to releasing her own music, Adams has written extensively for other artists.

By placing two emerging independent artists on the same bill, Women That Rock also hopes to encourage collaboration rather than competition among women in music. The organization describes the tour as a model for how intentional, community-led investment can help artists develop sustainable careers.

The Summer 2026 Tour begins August 7 in Washington, D.C. All venue and ticketing information will be announced through Women That Rock’s Instagram account.
