Live music discovery leader Bandsintown is expanding its Bandsintown For Artists Marketplace, adding seven marketing and CRM platforms that now sync artist fan signups in real time.
The addition more than doubles the Marketplace's marketing and CRM integrations, bringing its overall partner count to close to 40.
Seven new marketing and CRM integrations
Artists can now sync fan email and SMS opt-ins with Mailchimp, Klaviyo and ActiveCampaign, alongside Laylo, co:brand, Hive and NxtGen. The signups come from the Bandsintown tools artists already run on their own sites and social channels — the Widget, the Smart Link and the Signup Form — and sync the moment a fan opts in, with no export step.
These sit alongside fan sync already live with Community, Openstage and Rivet, and event sync with the tools artists build their pages on, including Linktree, Komi, Bandzoogle and Feature.fm.
Every synced signup does two things
It lands in the artist's own platform — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, whichever they run — exactly as it would from a native signup form, so their automations fire the same way they always have. A fan who joins a presale can have the code back from the artist's own platform within seconds.
It also registers the fan as a Bandsintown follower. From there, Bandsintown promotes the artist to that fan automatically: every show announced nearby, on every tour, for as long as they follow, at no cost and no extra work.
The artist's side of the equation doesn't change. The audience does.
How it works
- The artist adds the Bandsintown Widget or Smart Link to their own website and social channels to announce and promote tour dates.
- Fans checking tour dates on the artist's website or Smart Link can RSVP, join a presale, join a waitlist, or sign up for updates.
- Whichever action a fan takes, Bandsintown collects their email address, and phone number if they provide one.
- That signup syncs automatically to whichever platform the artist connects — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Laylo, co:brand, Hive or NxtGen.
- The fan is also registered as a Bandsintown follower, triggering automatic show alerts in every city, on every future tour.
The sync covers signups captured by the artist's Bandsintown Widget or Smart Link. Follows and RSVPs on the Bandsintown site or app aren't part of it.
Artists already syncing signups this way include Gorillaz, Placebo, Hayley Williams, Kehlani, Yung Gravy, Alexandra Kay and Iliza Shlesinger, as well as Angine de Poitrine, the Quebec duo who've taken their sound from clubs to festival stages this year.

Why this matters
Independent artists already run more tools than they have time to manage — a CRM, a distribution service, a link-in-bio, a Bandsintown page — each one asking to be checked separately. This expansion doesn't add another one to the pile; it connects two the artist already has.
That adds up in small ways: fewer manual exports, fewer chances to lose a fan between tools, and a following that keeps growing on Bandsintown's side without a single extra task added to the artist's day.
Artists can connect their tools now at marketplace.bandsintown.com.
