Mashboxx Launches Paid P2P Downloads In Beta. Founder Russo Talks To LA Times

One of several companies attempting to legitimize and monetize P2P file sharing Mashboxx quietly began beta-testing it’s flagship product recently signing up beta-testers.  But there is nothing quiet Mashboxx’s flamboyant founder Wayne Russo who spoke at length to the LA Times over the weekend.  You may remember Russo for his jabs at the major labels and the RIAA during his tenure at Grokster "The music companies are living in the 20th century. They’re out of their minds, and they’re going to go down in flames if they don’t get with the program fast," he once said on CNBC.
