FREE Webinar For Hypebot Readers: Your Music At Public Libraries via Hoopla

Hoopla logoThe folks at NARM have announced a series of informative music industry webinars, and are generously offering them to Hypebot readers at no cost. Next up is hoopla – Learn How Consumers Can Discover Your Catalog of Music at Their Public Library this Thursday September 26th 4-5 EST. DETAILS:

"Public libraries in North America represent a tremendous opportunity for music labels to get their artists discovered. For more than 10 years, public libraries have been offering music CDs their cardholders can borrow and libraries are now offering digital services enabling library cardholders to borrow albums digitally. Because these services offer consumers the ability to borrow content, many consumers use this as an opportunity to discover new content and/or to test an album before purchasing it. This webinar will delve into the size of the opportunity within the North American library space and show some examples of how some labels are achieving great returns in this marketplace."

You'll find the full Fall schedule of NARM seminars here. Registration is free for NARM members and $29 for non-members. Hypebot readers get free entry by using the discount code hypebot100 when registering.  More info here.

  1. Public libraries need your support, maybe 10 to 25 cents per person from taxpayers and then they can offer this service to all ages.
