Each ticket purchased through the new UK based GrassrootsVenues.Tickets service will see a fixed portion of the ticket fee go to the venue as a donation worth about £0.50. As well, Music Venue Trust will also receive a portion of the service charge to help subsidize their mission.

Participating venues will also be able to choose to allow Music Venue Trust look after their reporting and payments to U.K. collection society PRS for Music for a small fee. Also included in the program will be access to back-end data and sales analytics like you'd see with a traditional white label ticketing service.

So far, the program has 16 participating venues across the UK, including Ramsgate Music Hall in Kent; the New Cross Inn in London; and Le Belle Angele in Edinburgh, Scotland.
