Bandcamp hits the road for ‘Bandcamp Social’ live event series

Bandcamp is hosting a series of live events this Fall, The goal is to meet artists and labels, share tips on the best ways to use Bandcamp, and gather feedback.

In each city, there will be two sessions; one educational and the other social.

The events will take place in Philadelphia on 10.26, NYC on 10.27, Boston on 11.1, and Toronto on 11.3. There are already rumblings that the tour will be extended to hit more cities.

At each stop, the schedule will be the same:

From 3 – 5 PM: “Ask Us Anything about how to improve your artist or label presence on Bandcamp. Talk with Bandcamp staff about tips, tricks, and insights on a range of topics, including how to pitch the editorial team, grow your fanbase through shows and album release parties on Bandcamp Live, make vinyl quickly and without any $ down, and how you can trick out your account to really catch fans’ attention.”

From 6 – 9 PM: “Bandcamp Social with food, drink, and conversation with a wide array of Bandcamp folks and other local artists & labels. We’ll ask for your feedback on Bandcamp, and you can fill us in on your latest projects. We’ll also update you on recent developments and upcoming features.”
