NAMM Show Unveils Five-Day Schedule for 2027

The NAMM Show will return to Anaheim from January 26–30, 2027, with 5 days of music industry education, networking, live events and product exhibits.

The NAMM Show will return to the Anaheim Convention Center from January 26–30, 2027, with five days of education, networking, performances and industry events surrounding three days of exhibits.

Organized by the National Association of Music Merchants, the annual gathering brings together instrument and equipment manufacturers, retailers, artists, creators, educators, audio professionals and music technology companies from around the world. The main exhibition halls will operate January 28–30. NAMM announced the expanded schedule on Monday.

Programming will begin Tuesday, January 26, with professional development and networking events. The opening day will include a NAMM Succession Summit for music businesses navigating ownership transitions, a Financial Summit and the inaugural Music Education Advocacy Summit.

Wednesday’s programming will add a new NAMM AI Marketing Summit focused on using emerging technology in music industry marketing. The day will also feature the TEC Tracks Studio and Live Sound Summits, the Entertainment Technology Summit, Women of NAMM Leadership Amplified and a Music Education Leaders Summit.

The exhibition floors will open Thursday with instruments, recording equipment, live production technology, lighting products and other gear from participating brands. New additions include a dedicated Percussion Showcase featuring hourly demonstrations and the first NAMM Sync Summit, which will explore music placement opportunities for artists.

More than 250 educational sessions are planned across the five-day event, addressing topics including business strategy, the creator economy, recording, live sound, music education, AI and emerging technologies.

NAMM will also host a full slate of awards and live events. Thursday’s schedule includes the TEC Awards, Backline Talk Awards and Bass Magazine Awards, while Friday will feature the Grand Rally for Music Education and Parnelli Awards. The show will conclude Saturday with Best in Show and the She Rocks Awards.

The expanded program builds on a 2026 NAMM Show that attracted more than 60,000 attendees from 122 countries, regions and territories, according to the organization. NAMM says artists and performers now account for more than one-quarter of attendees, reflecting the show’s evolution from a conventional product trade show into a broader music industry gathering.
