Bandsintown Sold To Apps Publisher Cellfish

T Co-founders Phil Sergi and Todd Cronin and their San Diego staff are all reportedly becoming part of the Cellfish team.  BandsinTown often ranks as the #1 live concert tracking app on Facebook and currently is one of the top 5 music apps by monthly average users along with Root Music, ReverbNation, Pandora, and Vevo.

3.4 million fans access Bandsintown to track concert dates and discover new touring artists based on  musical preferences and location.  The Bandsintown concert API is used by Shazam, eMusic, Soundhound,  Root Music , ReverbNation, and all four majors labels as well as numerous independents.
